# Cortex

Die **Cortex** ist die Konversations-Laufzeitumgebung und Orchestrierungsebene in diesem Stack. Es hostet Bots (Agentenkonfigurationen), verwaltet Unterhaltungen ([Datenräume](/de/konzepte/data-room.md)), akzeptiert Benutzereingaben für Abschlüsse und aggregiert während Unterhaltungen erstellte Artefakte (Anhänge, E-Mails, Notizen/Erkenntnisse). Verwenden Sie Cortex als Backend, das Agentendefinitionen, Tools und Workflows in ein zustandsbehaftetes, prüfbares und benutzerseitig sichtbares Gesprächserlebnis verwandelt.

#### Was Cortex macht

* **Bot-Hosting**: Speichert und stellt Bot-Definitionen bereit, einschließlich Eltern-/abgeleiteter Bot-Beziehungen.
* **Unterhaltungsverwaltung**: Erstellt und verwaltet Konversationskontexte, die an einen Bot und Teilnehmer gebunden sind.
